living in utopia

had the idea while on the bus, the idea is every day is a monotonous grind for money imagine the world could be a better place, every day could matter. there's no reason to be special, even though speciality is his rewarded. the idea is a guy is on the bus, sees a woman as pretty, but not as pretty as she could be if she lived every day like it was her life.
Its not going to change any time soon. so the guy has different fantasies about what his present could be like, for instance he can imagine hes in a roman colloseum having a duel, sword and shield, other one could be a vigilante batman kind of fantasy where he is living every day like a detective, then another could be like a marshmellow planet.
essentially a collection of about 5 short fantasy sequences, each one could be different in style, you wake up and want to go to the stores because people are creating art that will matter, people want to give gifts without seeking anything in return.
it can end with abit of a cliffhanger, he gets off the bus, does he continue onto work and continue the monotonous grind or is he actually going to live his life like hes really sspecial then it ends with a white out so your not sure which one he went with, like leaving it up to the viewer to dicide wht it is they want to do with their own lives.

the only problem with doing this idea is that each of the personalities, developing them would be quite an undertaking to even do one of those, seems very ambitious.

its ani dea worth storyboarding becuase i think its the kind of thing that can be done in 4 minutes. if all the personalities are animated by somebody different it might have a nice contrast

one thing I have noticed is that blood and gore and nastiness tend to grab peoples attention and keep them riveted to their seats alot more than happy fluffy utopian ideas do. blood and gore just do better than constructive hopeful stuff.
you have to have abit of a reputation first before you can be preachy.

i think doing a gore hound bloody fight scene might be the way to go, cos it will be a good challenge. its just simply that, people just aren't as interested in hopeful utopian ideas, they just want ot be entertained, if you can edutain them thats great
